Vertical Scroller Template

The Shoot 'em Up Kit includes a range of game templates to use as a starting point for different styles of game. The controls, camera and player ship are already in place to make it easier to get started on a game.

The Vertical Scroller template is a 2D game with models in the style of games such as 1942 and Ikaruga. See how we built this template here.

The player can move up, down, left and right within an area at the bottom of the screen and always faces upwards. The player also can fire.
