To access the General Tab for a Player, select an existing Player or place a new one in the Level Editor.
Name | Player name | |
Entity | The Entity to use for the Player. Click the arrow to open the selected entity in the Entity Editor. | |
Position | The position of the Player. | |
Rotation | The angle of the Player. | |
Scale | The scale of the Player. | |
Player Definition | The Player Definition which the Player will use. | |
Input Definition | The Input Definition which the Player will use. | |
Movement Definition | The Movement Definition which the Player will use. | |
Team | The team the Player belongs to. This is used by the AI to determine who the enemy are. Choose from Player Team, Enemy Team 1, Enemy Team 2, Enemy Team 3, Enemy Team 4, Neutral. | |
Ship Selection Number | A unique identifier for the ship. This allows you to add several ships to a level, each with a separate identifier value, and let the player choose which one they would like to use. | |
Collision Group | The Collision Group the player is in | |
Shield Definition | The Shield for the Player. | |
Active Area | Set an Active Area for the Player and set the desired behaviour at the edge of it eg bounce or wrap. | |
Parent Entity | The Player can be attached to a parent entity eg a gun turret to a tank. | |
Hidden | If checked, the player is active but invisible in game. | |
Enabled | Specifies whether the player is switched on. |
