Invaders Template

The Shoot 'em Up Kit includes a range of game templates to use as a starting point for different styles of game. The controls, camera and player ship are already in place to make it easier to get started on a game.

The Invaders template is a 2D game with models in the style of games such as Space Invaders and Galaga.

The player can move left and right in a fixed area along the bottom of the screen. The player can also fire.

The enemy ships move in a formation from side to side of the screen. They also fire downwards at random intervals.

Bonus ships move across the top of the playing area for extra points.

Obstacles provide some cover for the player
