Uses of Positions
Positions are points in the scene which can act as markers for other behaviours. Uses could include rendezvous points for NPCs, or positions for sound or particle effects.
Add a Position
To add a Position to the scene click the Position icon on the Tools Menu and the cursor will change to a sphere. Move the sphere to the required position and click to place it.
To move the Position, use the Move Gizmo, or use the spin controls in the Properties window.
Properties Window
The Properties window will open when a Position is added or selected:
Properties:
Name | Name of the Position |
Position | The position of the Position. |
Enabled | Whether the position is enabled in game. |
Display List of Positions in Level
To get a list of all the Positions in the level, hold down CTRL when clicking the Position icon on the Tools menu.
